First, from a biblical standpoint, the question is not whether every atheist walks around feeling emotional rage toward a being he thinks is real. The deeper issue is whether man resists the true God, suppresses truth about Him, and rejects His authority. Scripture frames the problem that way.

Romans 1 does not say mankind lacks witnesses of God. It says that what may be known of God is manifest through creation so that people are without excuse. The text says men “suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” That suppression can take the form of mockery, indifference, dismissal, self-rule, or open hostility. Hatred is not always loud. Sometimes it is polished.

Second, saying “you cannot hate what you think does not exist” is too shallow. People reject things all the time that they redefine away first. A man can reject God’s authority, God’s moral claim, and God’s right to rule, then call God imaginary. The rejection is still there. Biblically, unbelief is not neutral. It is rebellion.

Third, you moved quickly from atheism to corruption of the Bible, church divisions, and religious wars, but none of that proves atheism is neutral before God. Corrupt people can twist religion. Churches can divide. Wars can be fought under religious banners. That says a lot about man’s sin. It does not say the true God is false or irrelevant.

Fourth, your point about different views of God also does not solve the issue. Yes, people define God differently. That is true. But Christianity is not talking about a vague force people invent at will. It makes a specific claim about the God who created all things and revealed Himself in Scripture and in Jesus Christ. Disagreement about God does not cancel the truth about God.

Fifth, your appeal to Jesus runs counter to your argument, not mine. Jesus did not flatter unbelief as harmless neutrality. He said, “He who is not with Me is against Me,” and “men loved darkness rather than light.” He spoke of repentance, judgment, and the human refusal to come to the light. So no, Jesus did not treat rejection of God as a harmless difference of opinion.

What happens when a document designed to diagnose cognitive failure exhibits the very patterns it condemns?

I recently conducted a forensic evaluation of a philosophical essay titled “Lost Insights of the Uneducated” by Dr. Neville Buch. The essay argues that people who lack disciplinary grounding suffer from a “techne mindset” that traps them in unreflective prejudice and historical forgetfulness. The proposed solution: engagement with the author’s Dynamic of Cognition framework, Spiral Historiography method, and associated curricula.

The premise is reasonable. The execution is instructive for reasons the author did not intend.

The Setup

I applied the DB-FEP forensic evaluation protocol, which separates evidence into four layers: Observation (are the cited sources real and accurately described?) It presents a framework (DoC) as if the framework’s existence validates its explanatory power. It cites prior assertions of that framework as evidence for the framework. It treats functional descriptions as mechanistic explanations. It extends local observations to a universal scope.

The document that warns against unreflective prejudice exhibits unreflective confidence in its own categories. The document that diagnoses historical forgetfulness does not provide historical evidence for its central claims. The document that critiques the “techne mindset” applies technical labels (DoC stages, ELIS layers, and Spiral Historiography) as if labeling were understanding.

This is not hypocrisy. It is something more common and more forgivable: the difficulty of seeing one’s own assumptions.

What Would Fix It

The document is not beyond repair. Here is what it would need:

Operational definitions. What observable indicators distinguish a “techne mindset” from ordinary ignorance? From political disagreement? From reasonable reliance on expert systems? Without criteria, the term explains everything and therefore nothing.

Outcome data. Has anyone completed the 4-Point Plan curriculum? The MICE framework? The Politics of Quora series? What did their reasoning look like before and after? Did they exhibit fewer of the diagnosed failures? Without pre- and post-measurements, efficacy claims are aspirational statements, not evidence.

Independent validation. The Dynamic of Cognition framework should be tested against alternative models. Does it predict outcomes better than simpler accounts (lack of subject knowledge, motivated reasoning, information environment)? If a framework cannot be compared, it cannot be evaluated.

Scope constraints. Under what conditions do the claims apply? For whom? With what baseline? Universal claims require universal evidence. Regional curricula warrant regional conclusions.

The Lesson

I am not writing this to attack Dr. Buch. The essay shows genuine intellectual ambition. The Habermas exposition is competent. The engagement with progressive pedagogy is serious. The concern about shallow judgment in public life is legitimate.

I am writing this because the document illustrates a failure mode that afflicts all of us who build explanatory systems.

Frameworks feel like understanding. When we have categories, we feel oriented. When we have stages, we feel like we grasp development. When we have tables that map one domain to another, we feel as though we have unified knowledge.

But categories are not causes. Stages are not mechanisms. Mappings are not demonstrations.

The question is never whether a framework is internally consistent. Internally consistent systems are easy to build. The question is whether the framework tracks something outside itself. Whether it predicts. Whether it can fail. Whether it submits to evidence it did not generate.

When a framework becomes its own evidence, it has stopped being inquiry and become something else. Perhaps advocacy. Perhaps faith. Perhaps just a habit dressed in academic vocabulary.

The cure for unreflective judgment is not more confident frameworks. It is a more uncertain engagement with evidence that can say no.

By his own public material, he has moved from historic Christian ministry into promoting a radically different spiritual framework. On his own CV, he says he spent 33 years in ministry as a theological educator and Anglican archdeacon, then turned to documentaries and books on mythology and paleocontact. He also lists books such as Escaping from Eden, which asks whether Genesis teaches that humanity was “created by God or engineered by ET’s” and The Scars of Eden, which asks whether humanity has confused the idea of God with memories of extraterrestrial contact. His current platform, The 5th Kind, says it explores “human origins, religion, ancient aliens, UFOs, and much more” and says Wallis and Mauro Biglino argue for a “radically different interpretation” of the Bible. The same site has promoted titles such as “Why is Yahweh (God) in the Bible Described as a Dragon?,” “The Bible IS NOT About GOD!,” “The Anunnaki Came To Earth and Created Humanity!,” and “Reincarnation: Reborn Again on Another Planet?”

That matters because the pattern is plain. This is not a call back to biblical faith. It is a move away from it. It replaces the Creator with cosmic intermediaries. It replaces revelation with secret knowledge. It replaces the authority of Scripture with speculative re-readings built around aliens, hidden beings, and alternative origin stories. From a Christian standpoint, that fits the last-days warning pattern of people departing from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits, and turning from sound doctrine to myths and novelty rather than truth.

Finally, I said, Paul Wallis fits the last-days pattern because he takes biblical language, strips it from its plain meaning, and then repackages it as hidden knowledge about aliens, altered origins, and cosmic beings. That is not the deeper truth. It is the old temptation in a modern costume: “Hath God said?” dressed up as a revelation.

Where I would push back is on your appeal to a “life energy“ that cannot be perceived through the conventional scientific method. If that energy is defined as empirically undetectable, then it cannot be operationally defined, causally specified, or tested. It names the gap. It does not explain it. I asked four AI systems to fact-check the same article. One of them passed.

One model inserted a real congressional vote into the wrong case file and presented it as part of the fact-check. The vote was real. The connection was fabricated. The tone was confident.

That is the issue.

AI does not always mislead by inventing fake facts. Sometimes it misleads by putting real facts in the wrong argument and saying it with confidence.

I learned that while testing an article by Jari Mattlar on Medium, titled “The CEO of one of the world’s most powerful AI companies just said the quiet part out loud.” Mattlar’s piece, published on October 4, 2025, was built around a real warning from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and used it to frame a broader argument about AI and white-collar job loss.

I did not run the article through one model. I ran it through four.

Gemini. Claude. Grok. ChatGPT.

That was not random. That was the method.

I do not treat AI outputs as answers. I treat them as witnesses. Then I compare their testimony against the record. That is how I run my own forensic checks. By “forensic,” I mean a claim-by-claim review that distinguishes direct evidence, inference, projection, and narrative overreach.

That matters now because AI systems are fast, polished, and persuasive. They can also blur the line between what is observed, what is inferred, and what is stitched together from nearby material.

Where the models agreed

All four systems recognized the center of the Mattlar article.

The opening warning was real. Dario Amodei did tell Axios in May 2025 that AI could wipe out about half of entry-level white-collar jobs within one to five years and that unemployment could rise to 10 to 20 percent if the transition goes badly. That was not fake. That was not hype made from nothing. That was a real public warning from a man helping build the technology.

All four models also recognized the broader point: routine white-collar work is under pressure. Entry-level digital tasks are vulnerable. The labor ladder is not as stable as many people still assume.

That agreement has value. It tells us there is a real center of gravity in the evidence.

But agreement is not proof. It only shows where the systems cluster.

Where the models Diverged

This is where the test became useful.

Some models treated Mattlar’s article as a strong warning essay but a weak labor-market brief. That is a fair distinction. The piece has force. It has urgency. Its thesis is plausible. It also leans on numbers that are stronger as rhetoric than as fully audited labor-market evidence.

Claude caught something important. It saw that the article drifted into individual survival advice. Update your resume. Become an electrician. Network harder. That advice may help some people. It does not solve a structural labor shock across millions of workers. That was a real analytical catch.

Grok did better than Gemini on one key point. It handled uncertainty around the layoff counts with more caution. That matters because the large online figure repeated in many discussions is not the cleanest official number. Challenger, Gray & Christmas said employers announced 54,836 job cuts tied to AI in 2025. That is a serious number. It is also lower than the larger figures reported by secondary trackers and commentary pieces.

ChatGPT showed something I value in investigations: follow-through. Once I provided the author and publication context, it updated its assessment and correctly reclassified the piece as a Medium commentary article rather than a primary labor-market report. That is what a useful tool should do when the record changes. It should not bluff. It should adjust.

The larger labor debate also contains another trap. Even optimistic reports can hide the pain in the transition. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025 projected that 170 million jobs would be created and 92 million displaced by 2030. Many people hear the net-positive number and stop there. That misses the real problem. Net gains do not erase the training lag, the credential bottleneck, or the collapse of entry-level on-ramps used to train people for higher-level work.

Where one model failed outright

Now we get to the sharpest point in the whole exchange.

Gemini inserted a bullet about H.Res. 1100, a real House resolution that was referred to the Ethics Committee on March 4, 2026, by a 357–65 vote. The vote was real. The resolution was real. The problem was simple: it had nothing to do with Mattlar’s article, nothing to do with Dario Amodei, and nothing to do with AI labor displacement.

Yet Gemini placed it inside the fact-check as though it belonged there.

That was not a typo. That was not a harmless side issue. That was a broken chain of reasoning.

A casual reader would have skimmed past it and absorbed it as part of the evidence base. That is what makes this dangerous. The model did not invent a fake congressional item from thin air. It did something more subtle. It took a fact, detached it from its real context, and slid it into the wrong file.

That is the phrase I keep coming back to:

AI can be misled by misplacing truth.

That failure mode deserves more attention than it gets. Most people know to watch for fake names, fake cases, fake quotes, and fake studies. Fewer people watch for facts being inserted into false chains of relevance.

They should.

What this reveals

This was not really a story about Gemini being bad, ChatGPT being good, Claude being deeper, or Grok being smarter.

Any of these systems can hallucinate. Any of them can overstate weak evidence. Any of them can flatten a projection into a fact. In this case, Gemini got caught cleanly. In another case, a different model will.

That is why the hero of this story is not a platform. It is the method.

Cross-examination works.

When you force multiple AI systems to answer the same question from the same record, you begin to see the fault lines. One model handles attribution better. One model adjusts when corrected. One model spots structure. One model stitches unrelated facts into the argument, hoping the reader will not notice. That divergence is not noise. It is evidence.

This is also why I use AI the way I do. I am not looking for comfort. I am not looking for a fast answer; I cannot repeat without checking. I am looking for pressure points. I want to know where a system holds, where it slips, and where it tries to bluff its way through a gap.

That is not a waste. That is due diligence.

So, is AI still lying to us?

Yes and no.

No, not in the lazy sense that every answer is fake. AI can surface real articles, real warnings, real data, and real patterns at remarkable speed. Mattlar’s article was real. The Amodei warning was real. The labor anxiety is real.

Yes, in a more dangerous sense.

AI can still present weak sourcing as strong sourcing. It can turn a warning into a forecast. It can turn a projection into a settled fact. And it can place one fact in the wrong argument and let style do the rest.

That is why one polished answer is never enough.

AI is useful. AI is fast. AI can be impressive.

But until it can reliably separate evidence from inference and relevance from noise, it still needs a human investigator to keep its story straight.

Funny, but this is the move you keep making; you say: “We don’t fully know yet, but we know it must be unguided chemistry.“

That is not neutrality. That is a conclusion dressed as patience. You are treating “future natural explanation“ as a placeholder with the same epistemic weight as a demonstrated mechanism. It does not have that weight. A promissory note is not a payment.

You are standing behind your Double Standard. You demand I prove (in science, we call it evidence) that the designer exists, can act, and did act before the inference is permitted.

However, you do not apply this standard to your own position. You believe unguided chemistry is sufficient. Yet you have not demonstrated it (or provided evidence or proof) for the system in question. You expect future research to vindicate the assumption. That is faith in a cause, not evidence for it.

Both positions involve confidence in a cause whose sufficiency has not been fully demonstrated for the origin of integrated, information-rich systems. The difference is the track record. Great question, and it deserves a careful answer because this is one of the most misunderstood topics in Scripture.

“Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26) does NOT mean works save you. It means genuine faith produces works as evidence. There’s a critical difference.

Here’s what Scripture actually says about what saves:

Ephesians 2:8-9 — “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Romans 3:28 — “A man is justified by faith APART from the works of the law.”

Titus 3:5 — “He saved us, NOT because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy.”

Galatians 2:16 — “A person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ.” Paul repeats this three times in one verse.

Romans 11:6 — “If it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.” Paul says these are mutually exclusive categories.

So how do we reconcile James and Paul? They answer different questions.

Paul answers: How is a person saved? By faith, not works.

James answers: How do you know faith is real? By the works it produces.

James 2:18 — “Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith BY my works.” Works are the evidence, not the cause. A thermometer shows temperature — it doesn’t create it.

Both Paul and James use Abraham. Paul (Romans 4:3) points to Genesis 15:6 — Abraham believed God and it was credited as righteousness. Before ” Before circumcision. Before the law. Before any work. James (2:21-23) points to Genesis 22 — Abraham offering Isaac decades later. James is saying Abraham’s obedience confirmed the faith he already had.

The strongest proof: the thief on the cross (Luke 23:39-43). He performed zero works. No baptism, no church, no charitable acts. Jesus said to him: “Today you will be with me in paradise.” Faith alone. No works were even possible.

Ephesians 2:10 ties it together — “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus FOR good works.” Works are the fruit of salvation, not the root of it. We’re saved for works, not by them.

A Four-Round Forensic Exchange on the Origin of Life

What happens when you stop chasing slogans and hold one question in place?

This essay documents a four-round public exchange with an atheist interlocutor over the origin of life. The exchange began on Quora and escalated through several rounds of argument. What it revealed was not a settled scientific victory for unguided chemistry. It revealed a pattern.

When pressed on a specific molecular system with documented functional requirements, the defender of unguided sufficiency did not explain the mechanism in question. He answered a different question, imposed an uneven burden of proof, and raised the temperature of the rhetoric as the challenge became more specific.

The interlocutor’s name was James Davis. His arguments were familiar. Lenski proves evolution works. Szostak proves chemistry can produce complexity. “God of the gaps” disqualifies design. Anyone who questions unguided sufficiency is sneaking a wizard through the back door.

None of that was unusual.

What was unusual was what happened when I stopped responding to the package and started asking one question.

The Question

The question was not abstract. It was molecular.

The E. coli chemotaxis signaling pathway is one of the best-characterized molecular control systems in biology. It performs environmental sensing, signal transduction, signal amplification, two-component phosphorelay signaling, rapid signal termination, molecular memory, precise adaptation through integral feedback control, logarithmic sensing across more than five orders of magnitude, and binary motor switching. All of that operates inside a single-celled organism roughly two micrometers long.

At the center of the system sits an integral feedback controller. Two enzymes, CheR and CheB, act on the receptor system in a patterned asymmetry. CheR preferentially methylates inactive receptors. Phosphorylated CheB preferentially demethylates active receptors. That asymmetry is not decorative. It is load-bearing. Without it, the feedback loop fails to produce precise adaptation, and the cell cannot track chemical gradients through temporal comparison.

So I asked a direct question.

Explain the origin of that molecular integral feedback controller through a series of unguided mutations, where each step is independently functional and selectively advantageous.

I asked it in round two. I repeated it in round three. I repeated it in round four.

It was never answered.

What Happened Instead

Round One: The Standard Package

James opened with the usual moves. Lenski’s E. coli experiment proves natural processes generate novelty. Szostak’s work proves that chemistry can produce complexity. Design is just “God of the gaps.” Every mystery ever solved turned out not to be God.

The reply separated two questions he was blending together.

Can bacteria adapt? That is one question.

Can unguided chemistry produce coded, self-replicating, feedback-controlled molecular systems from nonliving matter? That is another.

Lenski addresses the first. It does not settle the second.

That distinction mattered. The citrate innovation in Lenski’s work involved a duplication that placed the CitT transporter under aerobic expression, followed by refinement within an already living, replicating, information-processing E. coli lineage. That is adaptation within life. It is not an explanation for the origin of life’s machinery.

The same problem appeared in the appeal to Szostak. In vitro selection experiments are researcher-mediated at the key stages: library design, selection conditions, amplification, and screening. Many origin-of-life proxy experiments rely on substantial experimenter control. Citing an intelligently managed experiment as evidence that intelligence is unnecessary does not close the gap. It sharpens it.

Round Two: The Chemotaxis Challenge

This was the turning point. Instead of continuing to argue in broad slogans, I described the E. coli chemotaxis pathway in molecular detail. I asked the question again, this time with the controller placed directly on the table.

Explain the integral feedback architecture. James did not engage the mechanism. He called the system “impressive” and pivoted to rhetoric about wizards and capes.

That pivot mattered. It became the structural spine of every round that followed.

Round Three: The Burden Reversal

By the third round, James shifted to a different tactic.

First, he demanded that I prove the designer exists before design could even be considered.

Second, he used a dog-breeding analogy to mock the design inference.

The first move was not neutral. It was a burden reversal. James was making a positive claim of his own. He was arguing that unguided chemistry is sufficient to produce the systems in question. That claim carries a burden of demonstration. Demanding proof of the designer before questioning his mechanism does not create fairness. It places a special burden on one cause class while exempting the other.

The breeding analogy also failed. Dog breeding works because intelligence directs selection toward specified outcomes. But the genome, replication machinery, developmental programs, and feedback controllers that make breeding possible in the first place are the very things under dispute. Pointing to directed selection as evidence for an undirected origin is circular.

The chemotaxis question was then restated.

James did not answer it.

That made two consecutive rounds.

Round Four: Gatekeeping Replaces Mechanism

By the fourth round, the pattern was complete.

James fell back on two final moves. Prove the designer first. Design is not science.

He also escalated into personal mockery and tried to steer the exchange away from causal adequacy toward theology.

At that stage, two outside points clarified what was happening.

The first came from NASA’s technosignature framework. NASA treats patterned effects as grounds for inferring intelligence. The point is not that NASA proves biological design. The point is simpler. Effect-to-cause reasoning is legitimate. Detectable patterns can justify an agency’s inference without first establishing the agent’s full identity. James’s objection that “we already know intelligence exists” in that context actually concedes the principle. The real dispute is not whether intelligence exists. The dispute is whether intelligence best explains a particular category of effect.

The second came from the National Academies. Science, as ordinarily defined, is limited to explaining the natural world through natural causes. That means when someone says design is “not science,” he is invoking a methodological restriction, not announcing a direct empirical disproof. A procedural rule is not the same thing as a demonstrated conclusion.

Then the chemotaxis question was asked again.

James still did not answer it.

That made three consecutive rounds.

What the Exchange Reveals

This exchange was not finally about evidence. It was about what happens when a script meets a specific system.

The standard atheist response to design often runs on a fixed sequence. Invoke Lenski and Szostak as if they settle the origin question. Accuse the critic of “God of the gaps.” Demand proof of the designer’s existence. Then declare victory by redefining the discussion.

That sequence can survive in general debate.

It struggles when the challenge becomes concrete.

The chemotaxis feedback controller was the point of pressure. James could not explain it in stepwise, unguided terms. He could not dismiss it cleanly. He could not claim it had already been solved. So he did something else. He changed the subject and hoped the audience would follow him away from the mechanism.

The audience did not.

Naturalism of the Gaps

James repeatedly accused me of committing the “God of the gaps.” The claim was that I was inserting a designer into a space where science had not yet reached an answer.

But the same structure appears in reverse.

When someone attributes the origin of a digital, error-correcting, feedback-controlled molecular system to chemistry that has not yet been shown to produce it, that is naturalism of the gaps. It is the assumption that the answer must be unguided chemistry, even though unguided chemistry has not demonstrated the causal adequacy required for the effect in question.

“God of the gaps” says this: we do not know, therefore God.

“Naturalism of the gaps” says this: we do not know, therefore not God.

Neither position becomes sound by repeating it.

The DB-FEP alternative is simple. Keep all cause classes on the table until the evidence rules them out. Evaluate each by the same standard. Ask one question of each cause class: Can this type of cause produce this type of effect?

That is not lowering standards.

That is refusing to rig the investigation.

The real question is not “God or science.” The real question is this:

The deeper I go, the more I find a fog of war made of rhetoric, disinformation, and political pressure wrapped around science. The RNA world hypothesis is the leading origin-of-life research program for addressing this question. Catalytic RNA is real. The ribosome’s catalytic core is RNA-based. These findings matter, and they make the research program worth continuing.

They do not close the gap.

There is a large, unresolved gap between interesting catalytic chemistry and a self-sustaining, coded, replicating system with sequence-specific functional output. Lenski does not answer the question I asked. Lenski showed adaptation within an already living, already replicating, already information-processing bacterial cell. That is not trivial, but it is not the same as showing that unguided chemistry can generate a coded, self-replicating, feedback-controlled molecular system from nonliving matter. You keep asking the question, “Can bacteria adapt?” and then claiming victory over the question, “Can unguided processes explain the origin of life’s machinery?” Those are not the same question.

So I responded to James (my dear friend lol). James, if you strip away the insults, the issue is still the same. No one said scientists “got bored” and invented a story. That is your caricature, not my argument. My point is narrower… a descriptive sequence, comparative anatomy, and genetic similarity do not by themselves prove that unguided processes fully explain the origin of complex, integrated systems. They show biological variation and possible pathways. They do not automatically close the causal question.

That is the first problem in your reply; you build your favorite straw man. You replaced my argument with a weaker one, then argued against that. Lol, typical.

Second, you accuse me of demanding a “frame-by-frame replay of billions of years.” No, I demand that strong claims be supported by strong evidence. If the claim is not just that eyes vary but that unguided evolution explains their origin, then the burden is to show more than a lineup of forms and a plausible narrative. A model is not the same as a demonstrated origin chain. That is not impatience. That is a basic standard of evidence.

Third, you say DNA is “a chemical system shaped by selection over time.” That line smuggles in the very thing under dispute. Let’s Do A Thought Experiment

Assume, for the sake of argument, that the scientific majority is right about many lower-level biological facts but wrong at the higher macro level about unguided sufficiency. Assume they correctly observe variation, mutation, selection, drift, adaptation, and molecular patterning, yet incorrectly conclude that these are enough to explain the origin of major biological architectures and life itself.

If that were true, the error would not likely be simple stupidity. It would be a deeper kind of blindness.

What kind of blindness would it be?

It would be framework blindness.

That means people are not blind to data. They are blind to the limits of the interpretive frame through which they read the data.

They would still see:

• genes

• mutations

• nested patterns

• sequence similarities

But they would misread what those things establish. They would confuse:

• mechanism with sufficiency

Could it be indoctrination?

Yes, but that word has to be used carefully.

Could it be ignorance?

At one level, yes. But not ignorance in the ordinary sense.

Not ignorance of facts. Often, the people involved know many facts.

The deeper issue would be ignorance of category boundaries:

• not seeing where observation ends, and inference begins

• not seeing where valid lower-level science gets stretched into higher-level claims

• not seeing when a methodological rule has turned into a metaphysical commitment

So the ignorance, if present, would be philosophical and forensic, not merely technical.

Could it be arrogance?

Yes, and perhaps this is the most dangerous form.

It would be the arrogance of assuming:

• Our method is neutral.

• Our framework is self-evidently complete.

• Our dissenters are ignorant before they speak.

• Unresolved. The problems are too small to threaten the larger system.

• Consensus itself is a sign of closure.

That kind of arrogance usually doesn’t look loud or emotional. It often looks calm, credentialed, and professional.

Could it be something else?

Yes. It could also be a mixture of several forces working together.
